Languedoc-Roussillon

The Languedoc is a large and diverse wine region in the south of France, known for producing a wide variety of affordable and high-quality wines. Owing to the area's warm climate, there is more red than white produced.  

• Red Wines: Languedoc reds are typically blends of grapes like Syrah, Grenache, Carignan, and Mourvèdre, resulting in full-bodied, fruity and often spicy wines.

• White Wines: The region also produces crisp, refreshing whites, often made from Grenache Blanc, Roussanne, and Viognier.
